Thanks for sticking with Cablesbychris.com. The site has been online for almost 3 years and has made a huge impact in the aftermarket scene for the Pontiac G8. Looking past all of the input cables for the G8, I have been wanting to expand into other aftermarket input cables. Today, I am introducing an input cable for the Mercedes W203. It is very similar to the G8 style input plug and I would love to be able to support the Mercedes fans as well. As always, please feel free to share any feedback. I am always looking to improve!

Today I am adding a new product for the G8, one I have been working on for awhile. One of the biggest questions I get asked is, “Do do I enable VIM?” and up until today, I have had to point to a long and confusing mess of posts on the internet. This programmer not only includes the hardware in the form of a EEPROM USB programmer and a 8 pin chip lead, but detailed instructions from start to finish. This is an exciting addition to what is already offered and provides a one-stop-shop to make the most of the G8’s extra features.

While still under construction, the site is online and new parts are starting to be added along with updating some of the core functionality of the site. I am looking to have all three of my G8 audio input cords for sale by the end of 2020. I am also starting to acquire components for the G8 Flashback DRL Mod and hope to have a working prototype for testing as well in the coming months.
